Privacy policy
This explains what Aveloa collects during the beta, why it is needed and the choices you have. It is written for people, not lawyers.

Who is responsible
Aveloa is currently a beta product operated by Alexander Burton. Questions, access requests and deletion requests can be sent to alexanderburtonuk@gmail.com.
What Aveloa collects
Aveloa stores the move preferences you provide, including household size, approximate income, housing and school preferences, workplace, shortlist and chosen options. If you create an account, those preferences can be synced to it.
When you request help, Aveloa also collects your name, email, phone number, preferred contact method and the information required to understand that request. If you allow analytics, product telemetry records pages, milestone events, campaign parameters, the advertising source (without retaining click identifiers) and a random browser ID. It is designed not to record your exact salary, plan answers, school choices or free-text conversations. Page telemetry stores the route only and discards query strings, including encoded shared plans and authentication callback values.
How the information is used
Information is used to calculate and preserve your plan, operate and improve the beta, respond to support and introduction requests, prevent abuse and understand whether Aveloa helps people complete their move.
Analytics and your choice
Optional analytics is off until you choose “Allow analytics”. Choosing “Essential only” keeps Aveloa usable without product-event tracking. You can reopen Privacy choices from the footer at any time; changing to Essential only removes the analytics session and campaign identifiers stored by Aveloa on that device.
Campaign attribution expires after 30 days. Reporting counts consenting browsers, not verified individual people, and does not include visitors who choose Essential only.
Aveloa does not currently load Google Ads, Meta or other advertising pixels. If those are introduced, this notice and the consent choices will be updated before they are enabled.
Service providers and international processing
Aveloa uses Lovable for application hosting and deployment, Supabase for authentication and database services, and Paddle for payments where checkout is available. These providers may process information outside the UK. Aveloa relies on the providers' contractual safeguards and applicable transfer mechanisms when international processing occurs.
Introductions and sharing
A shared shortlist link contains the selected communities, schools and planning assumptions needed to render the view, including budget assumptions. Anyone who has that link can open it, so it should be shared only with people you trust. The link does not include your name, email address or phone number.
Submitting an introduction request permits Aveloa to contact you. It does not permit Aveloa to send your details to an unnamed external partner. Aveloa will identify the proposed partner and confirm your permission before external sharing.
Partner payments never influence recommendation rankings.
Storage, retention and your choices
Move Studio visit notes are stored only in this browser, separately for guests and each signed-in account. They are not cloud-synced or included in partner links, calendar files, analytics or agent enquiries. Clearing browser data removes them. Use “Clear fields” and save the note to clear its contents; avoid sensitive details on shared devices.
Some plan information is stored locally on your device; account information and submitted requests are stored through Aveloa's service providers. Optional product-event records are retained for up to 13 months. Beta feedback and enquiry records are reviewed and deleted or anonymised within 24 months after they are no longer active, unless a longer period is required to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.
You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal information by email. You can also use Aveloa without an account before choosing to preserve a plan or request help.
Security and abuse prevention
Aveloa applies access controls, server-only database credentials and rate limits to public forms. A short-lived, hashed request fingerprint may be used to prevent spam; raw network addresses are not stored in the rate-limit table.
Important beta note
This policy reflects the current beta. It will be reviewed before commercial launch and updated when Aveloa's legal entity, partners or processing arrangements change.
